Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder
Michael is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.
Michael co-founded Stonepeak in 2011, having formerly worked as a Senior Managing Director in Private Equity and co-head of the infrastructure investment group at Blackstone. Prior to Blackstone, Michael worked for over a decade at Macquarie, where he started his career and ultimately held the title of Senior Managing Director. Michael has been investing in infrastructure for over 15 years, and his investments include Carlsbad Desalination, Casper Crude-to-Rail, Paradigm Midstream, Tidewater, Michigan Electric Transmission Company, the Dulles Greenway toll-road, Chicago Thermal District Energy, Atlantic Aviation, and Crosstex Energy.
Michael has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, both from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Prior to that, Michael was awarded a mathematics scholarship to St. Joseph’s College Hunters Hill, where he was Dux of the college.
Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder
Trent is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Before joining Blackstone in 2008 as co-head of the infrastructure division, Trent was a Managing Director with Macquarie Group in New York. Trent joined Macquarie’s infrastructure division in 1999 based out of Sydney, and transferred to the New York office in 2000 where he continued to specialize in infrastructure. Trent presently sits on the boards of the Carlsbad Water Desalination Project, Vertical Bridge and is a former director of Northstar Renewable Power and Tidewater Holdings. Trent has 20 years’ experience and has been involved in a wide range of infrastructure equity investments and transactions in the rail, roads, airports, communications and utilities sector totaling over $10 billion.
Trent received a Master’s degree in Economics from Macquarie University in Sydney Australia, and is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Senior Managing Director
Jack is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Jack covered the oil & gas sector for Davidson Kempner, a hedge fund that focuses on distressed investments. Prior to Davidson Kempner, Jack worked for Denham Capital, an energy-focused private equity firm. Jack started his career in Credit Suisse’s oil & gas investment banking group.
Jack holds a BA in Plan II Honors and Business Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Texas at Austin.
Senior Managing Director
Luke is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Luke has been investing in infrastructure for over 14 years and sits on the board of Paradigm Energy Partners, Casper Crude to Rail Holdings, and Energizing Co, and is a former director of Orion Holdings and Northstar Renewable Power. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Luke was a Senior Vice President with Macquarie Capital based in New York.
Luke has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business (Distinction) from the University of Otago (New Zealand).
Michael is a Managing Director at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.
Prior to joining Stonepeak, Michael was a Senior Managing Director and head of Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Development within Macquarie Capital having joined Macquarie Group from Bankers Trust Australia in 1999.
Michael has made numerous equity investments across the renewable and conventional power sectors. Most recently, the preferred equity investment in the TerraForm Private Warehouse owning 521-MW of operating wind projects acquired from Atlantic Power, the development equity for a 300MW wind project located in Oklahoma developed by Apex Clean Energy and an equity investment in a 90MWac solar project located in California developed by 8minutenergy.
Michael has experience as a board member and is a former director of Lansing Trade Group and Lansing Ethanol Services.
Michael has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney Australia.
Brian is a Managing Director with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and has been involved with investments across a broad range of sectors. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Brian was a Principal with H.I.G. Capital and a member of the investment banking division at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Brian holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School, a Masters of Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA charterholder.
Brenden is a Managing Director and has primary responsibility for Stonepeak’s Investor Relations and Business Development functions.
Brenden has nearly 20 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Prior to joining Stonepeak in 2016, Brenden was a Partner at StepStone, where he founded and led the firm’s infrastructure and real assets business. Prior to that, Brenden was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie, where he held various infrastructure asset management roles. Earlier in his career, Brenden also worked at British Gas, Anglian Water, EY and Andersen.
Brenden received a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England in Australia.
Ryan is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Ryan covered the oil & gas sector for King Street, a New York based hedge fund focused on distressed and special situations credit investments. Prior to King Street, Ryan worked in the energy group at TPG Capital, a large global private equity firm. Ryan started his career in Credit Suisse’s oil & gas investment banking group.
Ryan holds a BS in Finance from Louisiana State University.
Scott is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Scott was responsible for investments in the energy sector at Paulson & Co. Prior to Paulson, Scott covered energy, materials, and natural resources for Soros Fund Management.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University.
Daniel is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Daniel was a member of J.P. Morgan’s natural resources investment banking group where he focused on the power, utilities, and renewable energy sectors. Daniel has also worked as a Strategy Consultant in IBM’s global business services group, with a focus on the travel and transportation sectors.
Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award and the Class of 1986 Peter J. Niehaus Merit Scholarship. Daniel also holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tulane University.
George is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, George was an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan’s power & utilities investment banking group where he was focused primarily on merchant power generation, renewables and electric transmission. George also has five years of investing experience across a broad range of sectors while at Wyper Capital Management and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering and Economics from Dartmouth College.
James is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, James was a member of Credit Suisse’s global energy group, where he focused on the power and renewables sectors.
James holds a BA in Economics from Yale University.
Emily is a Vice President with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Emily was a member of the North America Private Equity team at Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts, focusing on investments in the industrials and infrastructure sectors. Prior to KKR, she worked for Blackstone Advisory Partners, with a focus on chemicals transactions.
Emily holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Hoshrav M. Patel
Hoshrav is a Vice President with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Hoshrav was a member of the investment team at EIG Global Energy Partners in London where he executed and managed conventional & renewable power, oil & gas, and energy infrastructure investments across Europe, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and India. Prior to EIG, Hoshrav covered the oil & gas and industrials sectors for a long/short investment fund at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York. Hoshrav also completed a brief summer stint as a Vice President for Warburg Pincus in London.
Hoshrav holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from New York University Stern School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder. Hoshrav is conversant in Hindi and Gujarati.
Nick is an Associate with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Nick was a member of the Global Industrials Group at Credit Suisse, where he focused on the business services sector.
Nick holds a BBA in Accounting, Finance, and Business Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
Ben is an Associate with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Ben was a member of Credit Suisse’s Global Energy group, where he focused on the power, renewables, and utilities sectors.

Petros is an Associate with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Petros was a member of the Global Industrials Group at UBS, where he focused on the infrastructure and transportation sectors.

William is an Associate with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, William was a member of the Global Energy Group at Citi, where he focused primarily on the midstream sector.
William holds a Bachelor of Arts in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.
Karly is an Associate with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Karly was a member of the Global Transportation Group at Morgan Stanley, where she focused on the airlines, rail, shipping and logistics sectors.

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Peter is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Before joining Stonepeak, Peter was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie Group where he worked for 14 years in both real assets fund management and the investment banking division. Peter has broad experience in asset management, corporate finance and private capital markets gained in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States where he has been based since 2007.
Peter has a Bachelor of Economics (Finance) from the University of Sydney in Australia and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Chief Accounting Officer
Paul is the Chief Accounting Officer at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, primarily responsible for finance and investor reporting. Paul also supports the financial due diligence processes for Stonepeak’s investments. Before joining Stonepeak, Paul worked in the Budget Planning and Analysis team at Apollo Management. Before joining Apollo, Paul was a Vice President in the Private Equity Finance and Accounting team at The Blackstone Group. Paul has also worked for 12 years in PwC’s Transaction Services practice based in New York, where he led both financial and commercial due diligence projects for a wide range of private equity firms and corporate buyers.
Paul received a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom). He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Vice President of Finance
Steve is the Vice President of Finance at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, primarily responsible for finance, accounting, tax, and investor reporting. Before joining Stonepeak, Steve was the Controller and Chief Compliance Officer at Staple Street Capital (“SSC”). Before joining SSC, Steve was an Associate Director at Apollo Global Management (“Apollo”) in their Private Equity and Credit Finance groups where he served as a controller to a mix of large buyout funds, credit funds and strategic accounts for certain of Apollo’s institutional relationships. Prior to Apollo, Steve was a Senior Auditor in Deloitte’s Banking and Securities Group, where he provided assurance and advisory services for clients within the investment management industry.
Steve is currently pursuing an MBA from the Yale School of Management and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Adrienne is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.
Prior to joining Stonepeak, Adrienne worked as General Counsel for Babcock & Brown LP. Adrienne also worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett for seven years as an Associate in its corporate practice.
Adrienne received a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
Deputy General Counsel
Saira is the Deputy General Counsel of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.
Prior to joining Stonepeak, Saira worked as a Vice President in the legal department at GSO Capital Partners, the credit platform of Blackstone. Before that Saira was an Associate in the Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance Group at White & Case.
Saira received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
Senior Operating Partner
Tom is a Senior Operating Partner with Stonepeak and is responsible for investments in the Canadian midstream energy sector. Tom has over 30 years of senior leadership experience in E&P, midstream, and marketing. Tom co-founded Founders Energy in 1993 and in 2001 led the conversion of Founders into Provident Energy Trust, the first energy trust formed on the conversion of a junior oil and gas company. As CEO from 2001 – 2010, he successfully lead Provident through an aggressive growth strategy creating a $4.5B diversified energy company. Provident grew to over 50,000 boe/d of production in Canada and the United States and became one of Canada’s largest integrated natural gas liquids midstream and marketing businesses. Tom retired from Provident in 2010 and joined the Board of Pembina Pipelines (2010-2014). His knowledge of the business and assets of each company enabled him to provide crucial operational, finance and strategic guidance to the company in respect of Pembina’s $3.5B acquisition of Provident’s midstream business in early 2012. Tom previously served as Chairman of the Board of Athabasca Oil Corporation and served as Athabasca’s interim CEO from October 2014 to April 2015 where he helped to refocus the company’s growth strategy and realign its cost structure. Other public company Board experience includes Emera Inc., Spyglass Resources Corp., and Breitburn Energy Partners LP.
Senior Operating Partner
Bill is the Senior Operating Partner responsible for investments in Communications Infrastructure. Bill was most recently Executive Vice President of Cloud Services at VMWare and previously served as President of Savvis, a public data center and cloud infrastructure provider. Bill was a member of the Board of Directors of Telx, a leading cross-connection and colocation platform. He also worked for Thomson Reuters, where he helped build businesses in a number of international markets throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
A former officer in the British Army, Bill holds an M.A. in Engineering from Cambridge University.
C. Scott Hobbs
Senior Operating Partner
Scott is one of two Senior Operating Partners at Stonepeak jointly responsible for investments in the U.S. midstream energy sector. Scott has been involved in the energy industry for over 35 years. He presently serves on the boards of directors for Enable Midstream and Suncoke Energy Partners, and previously served on the boards of directors for Buckeye Partners, American Oil & Gas and CVR Energy. Scott was also previously Executive Chairman of Optigas, a private midstream natural gas company which was sold in 2006. From 1977 to 2001, Scott worked for the Coastal Corporation where he last served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for its natural gas operations in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado Interstate Gas and Wyoming Interstate). He was also CEO of CIG Resources where he was responsible for certain non-regulated business activities in the Rocky Mountain area. In his different positions at Coastal subsidiaries, Scott was responsible for operations, engineering, regulatory compliance, and all commercial activities including gas transportation and storage, gathering and processing, production and development, and gas supply and trading activities.

Denis is an exclusive Senior Operating Partner of Stonepeak and is responsible for government and labor relations. Denis served four terms as President of the New York State AFL-CIO where he achieved numerous legislative victories to advance labor interests. Denis was also instrumental in securing $20 billion in federal funds to rebuild New York City after the 9/11 tragedy as well as securing passage of the James Zadroga 9/11 Heath Care and Compensation Act, which provides necessary funding for medical care for 9/11’s first responders. Denis served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2004-2010, including as Chairman from 2009-2010.

Jeff is a Senior Operating Partner with Stonepeak and is responsible for investments in the power generation sector. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the downstream energy sector with focus on mid to large infrastructure project development, financing, execution and operations. Jeff was a co-founder, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pristine Power from its founding in 2002, public listing in 2008 and the successful sale of the company to Veresen in late 2010. From 1994 to 2002, Jeff was involved in leadership roles in the development of several major natural gas pipeline projects and the development, execution and operations of three gigawatts of independent power projects in four countries. Jeff continues to be involved in the development and execution of independent power projects and is involved as an investor and Board member of companies in the clean tech space.
James E. Rogers
Senior Operating Partner
Jim is a Senior Operating Partner with Stonepeak and is responsible for investments in the electric utilities sector. Jim has almost 25 years of experience as a CEO in the electric utility industry, most recently as CEO of the largest electric utility in the U.S., Duke Energy, which Jim created through a series of mergers and acquisitions. During the 1980s Jim operated one of the largest gas pipeline companies in the U.S. and has also owned and/or operated assets in 17 countries in Africa, South Asia, Europe, and Central and Latin America. Jim has served on the boards of eight Fortune 500 companies and currently serves on the boards of Cigna, Invenergy, The Aspen Institute, Brookings Institution, The Nature Conservancy, Bloomberg New Energy Finance, among others. In 2015, he authored “Lighting The World: Transforming Our Energy Future by Bringing Electricity To Everyone” in which he advocates for bringing electricity to the 1.2 billion rural poor through off-grid primarily renewable solutions. He is a co-founder of the Global Brightlight Foundation, which delivers solar-powered lanterns capable of charging cell phones to rural communities around the world. He is co-teaching a groundbreaking graduate seminar entitled: Renewables and the World’s Poor at Duke University. In 2009, Newsweek named him one of the “50 Most Powerful People in the World.”
Senior Operating Partner
John is a Senior Operating Partner with Stonepeak and is responsible for general portfolio operations. Prior to joining Stonepeak, John spent 19 years at General Electric (1978-1997) where he gained broad experience across multiple businesses. At the time of his departure from GE, John served as President & CEO of GE Medical Systems where he reported directly to Jack Welch, the CEO of GE. John’s big break at GE came when he was tasked with running GE’s Mobile Communication Division during the 1980s. In his two years running the division, John increased cash flow by $80mm. The Mobile Communications Division role represented the start of a consistent rise for John through the ranks of GE, culminating in his role as CEO of GE Medical Systems. John also served as the Chairman and CEO of The Stanley Works from 1997 to 2003. Since leaving The Stanley Works, John has worked in various operating roles for private equity firms. John is a senior and highly experienced leader of businesses.
Senior Operating Partner
Forrest is one of two Senior Operating Partners at Stonepeak jointly responsible for investments in the U.S. midstream energy sector. Forrest has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, having worked for publicly traded companies in the E&P, Offshore Drilling, Energy Marketing and Midstream sub-sectors. Forrest was formerly the CEO of Buckeye Partners, L.P., and currently serves as its Chairman. Buckeye is one of the largest independent owners of midstream infrastructure in the refined product sector. Forrest also serves on the boards of Cross Group, Power Holding LLC, USA Compression and Coastal Energy. Throughout his career, he has been able to build organizations from the ground up, establish growth plans through acquisition and organic growth, and implement new technologies and people practices to improve efficiencies and increase profitability. Forrest has also been able to utilize his relationships within banks, private equity, and debt financiers to successfully raise capital and restructure debt for M&A activity.
Mark is a Senior Advisor with Stonepeak and is responsible for investments in the transportation sector. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the transportation sector. Mark previously served as VP of Operations at Rail World, where he was responsible for overseeing global operations from 2000-2005. During this time, Mark was on the boards of all of Rail World’s subsidiaries and affiliated companies. He also has had various roles at railways in Australia and Eastern Europe, where he led the privatization of the Estonian Railways as interim CEO. Mark served as the Director of Network Strategy and General Director – Public Private Partnerships at BNSF Railway Company from 2006-2007, and as Senior Vice President at Macquarie Group from 2008-2009 where he was involved in numerous rail and toll road investments including the Denver RTD Commuter Rail Public-Private Partnership.
David M. Tolley
David is a Senior Advisor with Stonepeak and a Director of Extenet Systems. David has over 25 years professional experience as both a private investor and corporate financial advisor.
From 2000 to 2012 he was responsible for investment activities in the Communications and Media sectors at Blackstone and was a Senior Managing Director. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of NewSkies Satellites, and is a former Director of Beechcraft, Centennial Communications, Freedom Communications and Montecito Broadcast Group.
Prior to joining Blackstone, from 1990 to 2000 David held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at Morgan Stanley, executing over fifty financing and advisory transactions for a broad array of public and private companies in the Communications sector.
He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
David is also currently a Director of Cumulus Media, Inc. and the National Air and Space Museum.
